Terms of Service

Tzva Shucher · Last updated: October 19, 2026

These Terms of Service apply to the Tzva Shucher emergency alert and donation system, including our phone lines, text messages and the website at tzvashucher.org. By registering or using the system, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Tzva Shucher notifies members of emergencies by phone call or text message, and collects the donations members choose to give. Members can listen to recent messages, manage their settings and leave a message for our office through our phone line.

2. Donations and payments

3. Calls and text messages

By registering, you agree to receive emergency calls or text messages at the number you gave us, according to the notification method you chose. You can choose not to receive calls at night. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop text messages.

4. Not a replacement for emergency services

This system is an additional way to share information. It does not replace 911, official emergency services or official instructions. We work hard to deliver every alert, but we cannot guarantee that a call or message will reach you, for example because of phone network problems.

5. Your responsibilities

6. Staff portal

The admin portal is for authorized Tzva Shucher staff only. Staff must keep their sign-in details private and may sign in with a password or with Google. Access can be removed at any time.

7. Leaving the system

You may leave at any time through the account settings on our phone line or by contacting us. Donations already charged are not affected.

8. Limitation of liability

The system is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Tzva Shucher is not responsible for any loss caused by a delayed, missed or incorrect alert, or by the system being unavailable.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
